A collision led to Oroño getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Inocencio Cebrian hit a great ball. Oroño's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Leon Llanos scored to the left of an out of position Denis Millano, making the score, 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Braulio Venceslao during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Braulio Venceslao kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Saul Joseph ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Denis Millano was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Tomás Leobardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeo Richie in the 30th minute of play. Tadeo Richie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomás Leobardo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tadeo Richie's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Leon Llanos hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tadeo Richie to strike the kick off in the second half. Tomás Leobardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nunez Rojelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Lev Tolstoi FC's Tomás Leobardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Richie in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute Saul Joseph shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Millano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tadeo Richie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oroño's Denis Millano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Llanos in the 79th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Leon Llanos made a precise shot to the right of Denis Millano. Oroño's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Oroño's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Lev Tolstoi FC had won, even though Oroño had held more of the ball.
