The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Marcos Gilesindo fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chenaut AFC's protests and gave Marcos Gilesindo a yellow card for diving instead. 22 minutes into the match, Locura Cordobesa's goalkeeper Samuel Berdoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvestre Txordon. Gustavo Guilabertus's late challenge caught a Chenaut AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustavo Guilabertus helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th minute, Chenaut AFC's Emanuel Baladi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Samuel Berdoi. Samuel Berdoi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Feliberto Tome took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Ted, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Emanuel Baladi made the kick off in the second half. Fulgencio Bazkoare in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Feliberto Tome, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Arturo Ted had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Joaquin Gotzon fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chenaut AFC's protests and gave Joaquin Gotzon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute, Joaquin Gotzon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvestre Txordon took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samuel Berdoi. Samuel Berdoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 66 minutes into the match, Chenaut AFC's Marcos Gilesindo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samuel Berdoi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Chenaut AFC's Americo Bernat got a free kick in the 69th minute. Locura Cordobesa's Federico Herena was substituted for Fulgencio Bazkoare. Samuel Berdoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chenaut AFC. Many of Locura Cordobesa's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Locura Cordobesa may have spent more time on the ball, but Chenaut AFC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
