After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Fernando Laffitte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trebolares's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Laffitte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramon Aznar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adriana Eufemio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Aznar having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emiliano Shantala was the one to do the kick off. If Adriana Eufemio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Trebolares's Gaspar Juvenal got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Ricardo Naelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Trebolares's Jimeno Astrada was substituted for Guillermo Rudolfo. It was beautiful to see Trebolares's Hugo Buinton in action when he in the 76th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Trebolares made a substitution. Esteve Chano replaced Adriana Eufemio.
