Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jimeno Belasko made the kick off which started today's match. 6 minutes into the match, Unión AFC's goalkeeper Gaspar Gervaso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Beti. Gaspar Gervaso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Nayely, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After 12 played minutes Unión AFC got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Ovando. Igor Pacifico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 13th minute, Igor Pacifico left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marull FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Gaspar Gervaso went to the wrong direction when Igor Pacifico was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Marull FC's zone, Lisandro Ticho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenio Rey came out of the goal and Lisandro Ticho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baldomero Guzman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eugenio Rey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Gregorio Ignado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Eugenio Rey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 32 played minutes Unión AFC got a freekick which was hit by Feliberto Munio. Igor Pacifico was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 33rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 35th minute, Eugen Tanase hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Unión AFC's zone, Igor Pacifico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaspar Gervaso came out of the goal and Igor Pacifico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eugenio Rey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Ignado in the 40th minute of the match. Baldomero Guzman struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Eugenio Rey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Unión AFC. Gabriel Beti might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaspar Gervaso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriel Beti ran back to his position shaking his head. If Gabriel Beti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A collision led to Unión AFC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Feliberto Munio hit a great ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Unión AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Marull FC:s goal. Unión AFC's Gaspar Gervaso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Nayely in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Pedroso in the 63rd minute of play forced Unión AFC's goalkeeper Gaspar Gervaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Unión AFC's Gaspar Gervaso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Nayely in the 64th minute of play. Gaspar Gervaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Pedroso in the 66th minute of play. The supporters of Unión AFC booed when Marull FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Nayely didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Marull FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Jimeno Belasko hit a great ball. Jimeno Belasko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lisandro Ticho during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Gabriel Beti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute Norberto Nayely shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Gervaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute Jimeno Belasko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Gervaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Unión AFC defense, Norberto Nayely kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaspar Gervaso. The Unión AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaspar Gervaso should have stopped the shot. Marull FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Lisandro Ticho scored to the left of an out of position Eugenio Rey, making the score, 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Jimeno Belasko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marull FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jimeno Belasko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaspar Gervaso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
