Spectators: 7081 (Terracing: 5313, Seating: 1628, VIP seats: 140) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Artemio Sein took the kick off in the first half of the match. With his leg Dalmacio Confesor managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when Peñarol MdP's Roque Tino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With an all-out effort, Peñarol MdP's Dalmacio Confesor threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Artemio Sein, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dalmacio Confesor was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Artemio Sein capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Artemio Sein really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saverio Vincent during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Saverio Vincent hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute, Roque Tino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peñarol MdP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After having played for 17 minutes, Artemio Sein managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peñarol MdP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artemio Sein was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roque Tino got free with Dalmacio Confesor in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Fellattio's Gervasio Rencio got a free kick in the 21st minute. Dalmacio Confesor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Sein in the 22nd minute of play. Deportivo Fellattio's Dalmacio Confesor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roque Tino in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to Deportivo Fellattio getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Salvador Quintun hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Artemio Sein ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dalmacio Confesor was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Artemio Sein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, Deportivo Fellattio's goalkeeper Dalmacio Confesor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roque Tino. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Salvador Quintun to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Artemio Sein managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peñarol MdP's supporters rose to their feet, but Artemio Sein was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalmacio Confesor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Roque Tino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artemio Sein in the 56th minute of play forced Deportivo Fellattio's goalkeeper Dalmacio Confesor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the game, Carlos Galeno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Fellattio's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peñarol MdP the free kick. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The penalty shot was made by Primitivo Piorno, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Peñarol MdP's Raul Ongile. 4-1. Artemio Sein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmacio Confesor having to interfere. Cristian Martxel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Dalmacio Confesor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
