Isidoro Rafel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artemio Sein, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudio Indalecio made a kick off. Peñarol MdP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roque Tino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isidoro Rafel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peñarol MdP's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
