Spectators: 7010 (Terracing: 5361, Seating: 1644, VIP seats: 5) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ceferino Mel started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Bastía getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Angelo Calixto hit a great ball. Severino Aurken made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Ceferino Mel sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Bastía's zone, Nemesio Nabar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severino Aurken came out of the goal and Nemesio Nabar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Ronaldo de Assis Moreira's Ruperto Pedroso got a free kick in the 15th minute. Primitivo Estavan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Cordearo in the 17th minute of the match. Santos Lander took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Primitivo Estavan. Primitivo Estavan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Primitivo Estavan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Lander in the 21st minute of the match. After having played for 23 minutes, Severiano Cordearo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bastía's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severiano Cordearo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ceferino Mel in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severino Aurken saved Bastía from getting behind. In the 27th minute, Ruperto Pedroso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Primitivo Estavan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Calixto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Ceferino Mel sped through Bastía's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Severino Aurken. After a rather tough play, Ronaldo de Assis Moreira's Ruperto Pedroso got a free kick in the 36th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Severiano Cordearo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bastía's supporters rose to their feet, but Severiano Cordearo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Primitivo Estavan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 43 minutes, Angelo Calixto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bastía and the Ronaldo de Assis Moreira players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Angelo Calixto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, Bastía's goalkeeper Severino Aurken had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ceferino Mel. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Severiano Cordearo to strike the kick off in the second half. Ronaldo de Assis Moreira's Primitivo Estavan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Ronaldo de Assis Moreira from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 59 minutes, Primitivo Estavan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 62nd minute, Ramon Amaya made a precise shot to the right of Primitivo Estavan. Ronaldo de Assis Moreira's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 67th minute of the match, Severiano Cordearo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Primitivo Estavan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ceferino Mel in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severino Aurken prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Enrique Tonio's late challenge caught a Ronaldo de Assis Moreira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enrique Tonio helped the player get up and apologised. After 71 played minutes Bastía got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Tonio. In the 78th minute, Ramon Amaya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Severino Aurken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceferino Mel in the 82nd minute of the match. Nemesio Nabar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Severino Aurken having to make a save. Ronaldo de Assis Moreira's Primitivo Estavan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Calixto in the 87th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bastía's zone, Ceferino Mel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severino Aurken came out of the goal and Ceferino Mel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ruperto Pedroso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ramon Amaya fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bastía's protests and gave Ramon Amaya a yellow card for diving instead. Ronaldo de Assis Moreira made a substitution. Placido Bautista replaced Generoso Valery. After a rather tough play, Bastía's Ramon Amaya got a free kick in the 95th minute. Severino Aurken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Mel, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Bastía walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
