Angelino Gau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Ekialde having to interfere. Angelino Gau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Ruperto Ekialde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruperto Ekialde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Corneliu Gabor, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After a rather tough play, Pituil's Anibal Artal got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute, Elpidio Quin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Marc Morrud, passed just outside the right post. If Victor Azubeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Victor Azubeli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Augusto Balendin charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Augusto Balendin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th match minute, San Telmo F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Balendin to maneuver through the defense. Victor Azubelis short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Marc Morrud to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Elpidio Quin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Morrud having to interfere. Corneliu Gabor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ruperto Ekialde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elpidio Quin made a kick off. In the 54th match minute, Pituil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixto Jakes to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute, San Telmo F. C.'s Angelino Gau dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Victor Azubeli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pituil's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Azubeli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marc Morrud breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Corneliu Gabor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Corneliu Gabor's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ruperto Ekialde firmly grabbed it by the left post. Victor Azubeli struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Marc Morrud didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pituil. In the 76th minute, Victor Azubeli made a precise shot to the right of Marc Morrud. San Telmo F. C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. San Telmo F. C.'s Corneliu Gabor got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the San Telmo F. C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pituil.
