Spectators: 7071 (Terracing: 5336, Seating: 1635, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Placido Ferrer started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Daniel Eliazar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th minute Placido Ferrer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İlkan Acunman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. F.C. Ballester's Daniel Eliazar got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Sportivo Desamparados fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Sportivo Desamparados's Pastor Herena looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Sportivo Desamparados getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ramiro Gar hit a great ball. After some careless play in the F.C. Ballester defense, Placido Ferrer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of İlkan Acunman. The F.C. Ballester fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that İlkan Acunman should have stopped the shot. In the 21st match minute, F.C. Ballester was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natalio Cordero to maneuver through the defense. Jeronimo Kimetz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Cordero in the 29th minute of play. İlkan Acunman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Ferrer in the 36th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Natalio Cordero recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jeronimo Kimetz. Natalio Cordero showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. İlkan Acunman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiro Gar, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Ferrer in the 49th minute of play forced F.C. Ballester's goalkeeper İlkan Acunman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The F.C. Ballester players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sportivo Desamparados were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Natalio Cordero to make the kick off. F.C. Ballester's İlkan Acunman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Ferrer in the 58th minute of play. With a little luck, F.C. Ballester's İlkan Acunman got control of the ball when Pastor Herena tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Placido Ferrer took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for İlkan Acunman to make any attempt to save it. F.C. Ballester's Santo Figueroa was substituted for Marciano Iago. A collision led to F.C. Ballester getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Natalio Cordero hit a great ball. If Daniel Eliazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. F.C. Ballester's İlkan Acunman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Ferrer in the 80th minute of play. Daniel Eliazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. İlkan Acunman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Ferrer in the 91st minute of play. After having played for 95 minutes, Cristobal Olando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sportivo Desamparados's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristobal Olando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Santo Figueroa charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santo Figueroa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, F.C. Ballester's Santo Figueroa got a free kick in the 97th minute. When the match was over Sportivo Desamparados could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than F.C. Ballester throughout the match.
