Herminio Alvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Burutzagi having to interfere. Deportivo Black Metal's Jeremias Delfino got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th match minute, La Monada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Odilon to maneuver through the defense. Natalio Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernabe Canor in the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Jeremias Delfino made a precise shot to the right of Everardo Burutzagi. La Monada's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Everardo Burutzagi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Delfino, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. La Monada's Everardo Burutzagi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Delfino in the 38th minute of play. In the 41st minute Herminio Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Everardo Burutzagi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremias Delfino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Everardo Burutzagi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Jeremias Delfino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Burutzagi having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Bernabe Canor was shown his second yellow card after 56 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, La Monada's Bernabe Canor got a free kick in the 57th minute. A hard shot 58 in the game by Herminio Alvarez from a close distance when the talented Everardo Burutzagi managed to make a qualified save. La Monada's players were relieved. Rodolfo Odilon's late challenge caught a Deportivo Black Metal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodolfo Odilon helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, La Monada's Rodolfo Odilon got a free kick in the 65th minute. Rodrigo Aznar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Burutzagi having to interfere. After 69 played minutes La Monada got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Lobo. If Jeremias Delfino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. Everardo Burutzagi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herminio Alvarez in the 86th minute. With a little luck, La Monada's Everardo Burutzagi got control of the ball when Herminio Alvarez tried to sneak it across the goal line. The La Monada fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Deportivo Black Metal were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
