Yan Galvão was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 39 minutes into the match. In the 40th match minute, Tiburones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yan Galvão to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Conrado Kiliz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hernan Ferran. That made the score 3-0 in the 42 minute of play. In the 46thth minute of the game Eulalio Ignado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tiburones's Hernan Ferran was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Hernan Ferran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Hernan Ferran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Frutos in the 96th minute of play. The long shot by Apolo Lando in the 98th minute really tested Victoriano Tonete's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.
