The crowd rose to their feet as Los Deboraombligos's Ciro Gaeta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rolando Aguilera. That made the score 1-0 after 26 minutes of play. Rolando Aguilera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Gaeta in the 38th minute of play. Paolo Hever kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Eusebio Silban kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Moldes's zone, Ciro Gaeta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Aguilera came out of the goal and Ciro Gaeta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 55 minutes into the game, Los Deboraombligos's Ciro Gaeta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Aguilera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 58th minute Lázaro Dolcet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Uncescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 66 minutes into the game, when Severiano Rodas put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Los Deboraombligos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! Los Deboraombligos:s Emanuel Uncescu showed great skill when he stopped Cecilio Ler:s penalty. In the 71st minute of the match, Paolo Hever got a very nice opportunity to score, but Emanuel Uncescu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Moldes's Rolando Aguilera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Gaeta in the 72nd minute of play. Emanuel Uncescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Calixto in the 76th minute of the match. Rolando Aguilera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Ermano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciro Gaeta might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Aguilera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ciro Gaeta ran back to his position shaking his head. 90 minutes into the match, Moldes's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Harkaitz came free, but Rolando Aguilera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Moldes getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Raimundo Calixto hit a great ball. Rolando Aguilera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeo Harkaitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. There was no doubt that Los Deboraombligos were the better team. Los Deboraombligos's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
