Hinojito F.C's Andres Orlondo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Tono in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute Aquiles Tono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Orlondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andres Orlondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquiles Tono in the 14th minute of play. If Orlando Jacindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. After a rather tough play, Charly´s Club 's Horacio Urtungo got a free kick in the 28th minute. Andres Orlondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquiles Tono in the 36th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Pedro Ihazintu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Andres Orlondo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aquiles Tono was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Tono in the 52nd minute of play forced Hinojito F.C's goalkeeper Andres Orlondo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 55 minutes Hinojito F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Horacio Urtungo who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Hinojito F.C's goalie and right to Fabricio Santo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Hinojito F.C's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. If Arnoldo Olivar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andres Orlondo came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Charly´s Club 's Aquiles Tono. But to his dismay, Aquiles Tono quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Aquiles Tono blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andres Orlondo having to make a save. Andres Orlondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Tono, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Arnoldo Olivar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romulo Playo having to interfere.
