An unexpectedly hard shot by Esmé Tassau in the 34th minute of play forced Terreneitor's goalkeeper Arnulfo Gora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Los Rayos's Miguel Jaunti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnulfo Gora narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Miguel Jaunti charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 79 minutes of play Los Rayos's Miguel Jaunti was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnulfo Gora showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Los Rayos walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
