55 minutes into the match, Remisoon's goal looked a bit too open when Esmé Tassau came free, but Luciano Petrigai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Los Rayos's Oscar Artaldo got a free kick in the 87th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Los Rayos's Maximiliano Costante nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luciano Petrigai made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Isidoro Uhin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Firmo having to interfere. With a little luck, Los Rayos's Erasmo Firmo got control of the ball when Herminio Oto tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 97th minute Miguel Jaunti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Petrigai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Los Rayos fully deserved thier win.
