Spectators: 7140 (Terracing: 5356, Seating: 1642, VIP seats: 142) Galaxia's Teodoro Calixto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Marcial Ixaka came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Sepulturas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcial Ixaka couldn't finish the play. In the 7th minute, Anselmo Selatse ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Siro Monico was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 11 minutes into the game, Alvaro Llorian was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sepulturas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galaxia the free kick. Alvaro Llorian kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After 14 played minutes Galaxia got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Steven. If Anselmo Selatse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anselmo Selatse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sepulturas's Marcial Ixaka got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Galaxia's Siro Monico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Selatse in the 21st minute of play. Anselmo Selatse might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Siro Monico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anselmo Selatse ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Galaxia getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Abelardo Steven hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, Galaxia's goal looked a bit too open when Marcial Ixaka came free, but Siro Monico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anselmo Selatse in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Siro Monico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Siro Monico stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcial Ixaka's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. After a rather tough play, Sepulturas's Eliseo Corderun got a free kick in the 40th minute. Galaxia's Siro Monico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Ixaka in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Anselmo Selatse could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Siro Monico made a huge save. After 61 minutes, Remigio Henric mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galaxia and the Sepulturas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 61st minute, Remigio Henric hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the game, Francisco Gartzen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Siro Monico was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcial Ixaka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anselmo Selatse might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Siro Monico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anselmo Selatse ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 68th minute, Abelardo Steven hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Galaxia's Siro Monico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Ixaka in the 70th minute of play. Anselmo Selatse could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Siro Monico made a huge save. Marcial Ixaka struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Siro Monico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sepulturas. In the 77th minute, Anselmo Selatse left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sepulturas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Teodoro Calixto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Remigio Henric hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Galaxia's Siro Monico got control of the ball when Anselmo Selatse tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anselmo Selatse in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Siro Monico saved Galaxia from getting behind. Marcial Ixaka's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Siro Monico read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Miguel Mikelar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Atarrabi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sepulturas's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
