In the 13th match minute, Wild Barber was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Beremundo to maneuver through the defense. Nemesio Kelemen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Azubeli having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Wild Barber's Alejo Ugaitz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cornelio Gau. That made the score 2-0 after 21 minutes of play. 27 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Lanus's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Etxatxu came free, but Cornelio Gau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute Celso Fidensio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Gau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Celso Fidensio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cornelio Gau. The goal made the score 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rolando Beremundo got free with Cornelio Gau in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th minute Celso Fidensio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Gau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Rolando Beremundo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Nemesio Kelemen's late challenge caught a Wild Barber's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nemesio Kelemen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th minute, Nemesio Kelemen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cornelio Gau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Etxatxu in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Celso Fidensio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cornelio Gau was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. 86 minutes into the match, Zeledon Etxatxu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cornelio Gau. Club Atletico Lanus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zeledon Etxatxu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. Eusebio Gilesindo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Wild Barber's Eusebio Gilesindo got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
