In a very dangerous position, a player in Bouquet FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! Bouquet FC's Felix Ilixo suffered a fractured collar bone after 19 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Angel Montxo fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Castilla's protests and gave Angel Montxo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bouquet FC booed when Castilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Montxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Honrio in the 22nd minute of play forced Bouquet FC's goalkeeper Menéndez Pandolfi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Valentin Honrio sped through Bouquet FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Menéndez Pandolfi. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florentino Oro in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Menéndez Pandolfi saved Bouquet FC from getting behind. After 29 minutes of play, Castilla's Valentin Honrio made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Menéndez Pandolfi was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Bouquet FC defense, Florentino Oro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Menéndez Pandolfi. The Bouquet FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Menéndez Pandolfi should have stopped the shot. Valentin Honrio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Menéndez Pandolfi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Menéndez Pandolfi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Oro, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After some careless play in the Bouquet FC defense, Valentin Honrio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Menéndez Pandolfi. The Bouquet FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Menéndez Pandolfi should have stopped the shot. In the 46th minute Florentino Oro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Menéndez Pandolfi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valentin Honrio made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Castilla's Guillermo Vellito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Menéndez Pandolfi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. If Valentin Honrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Menéndez Pandolfi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florentino Oro in the 60th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Castilla's Guillermo Vellito slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Menéndez Pandolfi. That made the score 0-7 after 61 minutes of play. 65 minutes into the match, Florentino Oro notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Bouquet FC's Menéndez Pandolfi. Menéndez Pandolfi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Bouquet FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Alvaro Lluques hit a great ball. In the 69th minute Severiano Basajaun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Menéndez Pandolfi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Castilla's Valentin Honrio got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Menéndez Pandolfi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Basajaun, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Menéndez Pandolfi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Honrio in the 93rd minute of the match. After having played for 96 minutes, Florentino Oro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florentino Oro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Castilla's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
