The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zé Carlos Albuquerque to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Angelo Venceslao threw the ball into play from the sideline. Pucará's Carlos Acosta quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 54 minutes into the match, Zé Carlos Albuquerque had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Higinio Pancho. Curacó's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zé Carlos Albuquerque was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Rodolfo Etxepare took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Melo. Pedro Melo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. Pedro Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serginho da Mata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Melo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serginho da Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Carlos Acosta hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After 67 played minutes, Curacó's Rogelio Godoy shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pedro Melo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Curacó reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niceto Chale got free with Pedro Melo in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 2-6 became the score in the 70th minute when Rodolfo Etxepare elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Pedro Melo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niceto Chale in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Pucará's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Odon came free, but Pedro Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Melo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rodolfo Etxepare showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-7 in the 83 minute of play. Valentin Innocenzio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Pedro Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Melo made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Niceto Chale sent off a good shot on target. Curacó played a much better game than Pucará and deserved their victory. The Pucará players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
