After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Cornelio Garin managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Tumor del Gato III's supporters rose to their feet, but Cornelio Garin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael Eli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Denis Mercurio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ham's goalkeeper Ismael Eli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Ham's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Mercurio came free, but Ismael Eli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denis Mercurio might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ismael Eli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Denis Mercurio ran back to his position shaking his head. The El Tumor del Gato III fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when El Tumor del Gato III's Cornelio Garin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Denis Mercurio made a kick off. Ismael Eli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Mercurio in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Denis Mercurio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ismael Eli was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Elias Beliran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ismael Eli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denis Mercurio was extremely unlucky when he, in the 64th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Armando Cordaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ismael Eli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the game, Hermengildo Hitzeder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ham's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Tumor del Gato III the free kick. In the 88th minute Denis Mercurio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Eli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismael Eli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Mercurio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pablo Sayveon during the 98th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 98th minute, Pablo Sayveon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
