But to his dismay, Alexander Larsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Norbert Chmelyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venancio Tximitx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venancio Tximitx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norbert Chmelyk having to interfere. If Venancio Tximitx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pigue FC's Norbert Chmelyk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Pigue FC from getting a goal against them. Constantino Menendo kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Obeko in the 29th minute of play forced Mothers of Invention's goalkeeper Gavino Laurendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Mothers of Invention's Cecilio Eguzki got a free kick in the 30th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mothers of Invention's zone, Fidel Ramos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gavino Laurendi came out of the goal and Fidel Ramos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mothers of Invention's goalkeeper Gavino Laurendi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alexander Larsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Narciso Bihar hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. When Fidel Ramos, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 37 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Gavino Laurendi was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Jeremias Obeko came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Pigue FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremias Obeko couldn't finish the play.

Gavino Laurendi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fidel Ramos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 52 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Venancio Tximitx managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mothers of Invention's supporters rose to their feet, but Venancio Tximitx was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norbert Chmelyk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th match minute, Mothers of Invention was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cecilio Eguzki to maneuver through the defense. Alexander Larsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Gavino Laurendi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gavino Laurendi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Ramos in the 74th minute of the match. Pigue FC's Jeremias Obeko got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidel Ramos in the 87th minute of play forced Mothers of Invention's goalkeeper Gavino Laurendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeremias Obeko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gavino Laurendi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Fidel Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Gavino Laurendi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, Jeremias Obeko recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gavino Laurendi. Jeremias Obeko showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Norbert Chmelyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venancio Tximitx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pigue FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
