Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Felix Cisco started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Robles booed when Newells was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Reno didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Robles's Igor Ramos broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The Robles fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Robles's Felix Cisco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With his leg Gaudencio Haitz managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Newells's Nicasio Paul fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Robles's Nicasio Oihenarte got a free kick in the 27th minute. Robles's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Saverio Damario 32 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Nicasio Paul could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Gaudencio Haitz made a huge save. Nicasio Paul recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Nicasio Paul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saverio Damario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saverio Damario to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Robles's Ariel Mannuel got a free kick in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Robles's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Paul came free, but Gaudencio Haitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute Nicasio Paul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaudencio Haitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nicasio Paul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Robles's Felix Cisco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Gaudencio Haitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicasio Paul in the 81st minute of the match. After 84 minutes of play, Newells's Saverio Damario made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaudencio Haitz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gaudencio Haitz came out of the goal and Nicasio Paul tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saverio Damario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaudencio Haitz having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Newells fully deserved thier win.
