Atlético San Martin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 24th minute Marcel Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Lizbeth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Samuel Lastur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valguarnera A.C.F.'s Eloy Gaztea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Mel in the 35th minute of play. Paolo Ursino kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Vincent Perales received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Fernando Lizbeth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Lizbeth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute Marcel Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Lizbeth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48thth minute of the game Ruperto Mel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Valguarnera A.C.F.'s Eloy Gaztea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Atlético San Martin players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Valguarnera A.C.F. were winning 0-2.

Fernando Lizbeth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valguarnera A.C.F.. 88 minutes into the match, Valguarnera A.C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ruperto Mel came free, but Eloy Gaztea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Valguarnera A.C.F. defense, Ruperto Mel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eloy Gaztea. The Valguarnera A.C.F. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eloy Gaztea should have stopped the shot. After 95 played minutes Atlético San Martin got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Gaitan. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
