In the 13th minute, Justo Nicholas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Justo Nicholas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Justo Nicholas in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernesto Dominix saved Gauchos del Dot from getting behind. If Fulgencio Isauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fulgencio Isauro did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Ernesto Dominix 39 minutes into the match. Ernesto Dominix didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fulgencio Isauro went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Prudencio Bernabel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Eztebe in the 48th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Justo Nicholas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 85th minute Hugo Eztebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Bernabel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Fulgencio Isauro came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Montecarlo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fulgencio Isauro couldn't finish the play. If Fermin Salvatore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Montecarlo AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
