The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celso Leizarraga helped the player get up and apologised. In the 2nd match minute, Morse FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Leizarraga to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Club Social Constitucion's Gustavo Francesco got control of the ball when Celso Leizarraga tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th minute, one of Morse FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Morse FC. In the 9th minute there was a penalty for Club Social Constitucion. Saturnino Santiago stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aurelio Cebo. 0-1. Gustavo Francesco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Victoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Baltasar Kepa took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Gustavo Francesco to make any attempt to save it. Aurelio Cebo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Heriberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 21 minutes into the game, when Evelio Precioso put in a rough tackle. The goalkeeper, Gustavo Francesco, was totally fooled by Morse FC's Hernan Victoro, who 23 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Hernan Victoro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gustavo Francesco. That made the score 3-1 in the 26 minute of play. Club Social Constitucion's Gustavo Francesco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Club Social Constitucion from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd match minute, Club Social Constitucion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Santiago to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Morse FC's Gustavo Francesco threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hernan Victoro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Eusebio Heriberto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Social Constitucion's supporters rose to their feet, but Eusebio Heriberto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelio Cebo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeronimo Pitin hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After having played for 47 minutes, Hernan Victoro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morse FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hernan Victoro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.
Moises Eneko hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusebio Heriberto got free with Aurelio Cebo in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eusebio Heriberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Aurelio Cebo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Morse FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! Saturnino Santiago kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Hernan Victoro struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Gustavo Francesco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Morse FC. Gustavo Francesco came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Morse FC's Celso Leizarraga. But to his dismay, Celso Leizarraga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. In the 75th match minute, Club Social Constitucion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Edur to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, Morse FC's goalkeeper Aurelio Cebo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eusebio Heriberto. The supporters of Club Social Constitucion booed when Morse FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Eneko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustavo Francesco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Victoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Celso Leizarraga put it in 5-2 from a short distance just to the right of Gustavo Francesco. Aurelio Cebo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eusebio Heriberto went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-3 was the resulting score. Eusebio Heriberto took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aurelio Cebo. Aurelio Cebo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-4. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
