Fausto Vermudo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jack Daniels scored 0-2 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fausto Vermudo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 42nd minute Generoso Feliu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Adrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fausto Vermudo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jack Daniels, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorato Turi in the 47th minute of play forced Etchegoyen AFC's goalkeeper Fausto Vermudo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Etchegoyen AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sabaleros F.C:s goal. Etchegoyen AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 98th minute, when Jack Daniels scored to the left of an out of position Fausto Vermudo, making the score, 0-7. Sabaleros F.C played a much better game than Etchegoyen AFC and deserved their victory. The Etchegoyen AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
