Mariano Beltxe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tono Valenciano's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Candioti's Mariano Beltxe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Isauro in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to Atucha FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Tono Valenciano hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Nilsson in the 13th minute of play forced Candioti's goalkeeper Mariano Beltxe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Beltxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Nilsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Candioti's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Nilsson came free, but Mariano Beltxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Candioti's goal looked a bit too open when Ariel Isauro came free, but Mariano Beltxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Atucha FC's goalkeeper Paulo Macario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erasmo Misael. After 34 minutes, Tono Valenciano made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Candioti's Mariano Beltxe tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Atucha FC's Paulo Macario got control of the ball when Erasmo Misael tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mariano Beltxe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tono Valenciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 42 minutes, Ariel Isauro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atucha FC and the Candioti players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 42 played minutes Atucha FC got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Isauro. Celso Egoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Mariano Beltxe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Atucha FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tono Valenciano to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Tono Valenciano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mariano Beltxe. The goal made the score 0-3. Tono Valenciano had several of the Candioti's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 61 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Mariano Beltxe as he didn't even see the shot coming. Mariano Beltxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Isauro in the 64th minute of play. Inocencio Celio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Macario having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Tono Valenciano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mariano Beltxe. If Hans Nilsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Atucha FC's Tono Valenciano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mariano Beltxe. Mariano Beltxe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Tono Valenciano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tono Valenciano's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mariano Beltxe firmly grabbed it by the left post. Mariano Beltxe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Egoi in the 94th minute of the match. Matias Herrera charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matias Herrera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Candioti booed when Atucha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Herrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atucha FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
