When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Rogério Mendes took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Mariano Beltxe to make any attempt to save it. Froilan Ubendu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Adrio having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Mariano Beltxe successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 32nd minute Erasmo Misael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Adrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Tomas Xabel fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sabaleros F.C's protests and gave Tomas Xabel a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sabaleros F.C getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Tomas Xabel hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, Candioti's goalkeeper Mariano Beltxe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rogério Mendes. Candioti's Mariano Beltxe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Candioti from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

55 minutes into the game, Rogério Mendes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Mariano Beltxe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Honorato Turi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sabaleros F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Honorato Turi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mariano Beltxe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Candioti defense, Rogério Mendes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mariano Beltxe. The Candioti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mariano Beltxe should have stopped the shot. 65 minutes into the match, Candioti's goal looked a bit too open when Rogério Mendes came free, but Mariano Beltxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th match minute, Sabaleros F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Estevez to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute, Erasmo Misael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute, Jack Daniels left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sabaleros F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. When Honorato Turi came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Sabaleros F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorato Turi couldn't finish the play. Mariano Beltxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogério Mendes in the 89th minute of play. Mariano Beltxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogério Mendes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Beltxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Fidele in the 97th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sabaleros F.C fully deserved thier win.
