Albano Urki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Medardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. With a little luck, Racing de Cba's Albano Urki got control of the ball when Teodosio Hulberto tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Teodosio Hulberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Humberto Frichoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Racing de Cba's Albano Urki got control of the ball when Teodosio Hulberto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Albano Urki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teodosio Hulberto in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute of the match, Teodosio Hulberto got a very nice opportunity to score, but Albano Urki was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 37th minute, Gaston Medardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A. Independiente fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After having played for 43 minutes, Gaston Medardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Independiente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaston Medardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angelino Mel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Gaston Medardo made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Racing de Cba's Albano Urki tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Teodosio Hulberto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albano Urki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Medardo in the 61st minute of play forced Racing de Cba's goalkeeper Albano Urki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernabe Frutos charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernabe Frutos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 67 played minutes C.A. Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Bernabe Frutos. In the 69th minute, Aaron Eate hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Racing de Cba's Albano Urki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Medardo in the 71st minute of play. Albano Urki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodosio Hulberto in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Humberto Iratxo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Teodosio Hulberto sped through Racing de Cba's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Albano Urki. Albano Urki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teodosio Hulberto's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Humberto Frichoso kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Racing de Cba's Albano Urki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Hanot in the 87th minute of play. Gaston Medardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Albano Urki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Gaston Medardo made a precise shot to the right of Albano Urki. Racing de Cba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. When the referee ended the match the C.A. Independiente players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
