An unexpectedly hard shot by Rony Leão in the 14th minute of play forced Dolores's goalkeeper Gaudencio Nuñez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gervasio Vermudo came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Dolores's Eustaquio Nicholas. But to his dismay, Eustaquio Nicholas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 19 minutes into the game, Rony Leão recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gaudencio Nuñez. Rony Leão showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. In the 27th minute Domingo Serapio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Vermudo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaudencio Nuñez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rony Leão in the 29th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the game, Sportivo kolbe's Rony Leão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaudencio Nuñez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rony Leão in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaudencio Nuñez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gervasio Vermudo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Urre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximiliano Gomez hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
