Victor Astrada took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fabio Romildo. Chevelle 68's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hipolito Quintyn got free with Amadeo Aballe in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hipolito Quintyn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Amadeo Aballe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gonzalo Federigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 30th match minute, Clubdeportivo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natalio Joey to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute Braulio Lizbeth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Romildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Clubdeportivo's zone, Hipolito Quintyn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeo Aballe came out of the goal and Hipolito Quintyn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Chevelle 68's Honorio Paz got a free kick in the 41st minute. 45 minutes into the match, Clubdeportivo's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Shantala came free, but Amadeo Aballe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hipolito Quintyn stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Braulio Lizbeth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 54 minutes of play, Chevelle 68's Hipolito Quintyn made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amadeo Aballe was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Hipolito Quintyn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 65 minutes of play Clubdeportivo's Ceferino Hernando was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 66 played minutes Clubdeportivo got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Hernando. Clubdeportivo's Amadeo Aballe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hipolito Quintyn in the 68th minute of play. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Clubdeportivo's goalkeeper Amadeo Aballe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Clubdeportivo's zone, Gonzalo Federigo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeo Aballe came out of the goal and Gonzalo Federigo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hipolito Quintyn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeo Aballe having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Chevelle 68 fully deserved thier win.
