Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Pedro Mede got the match started through his kick off. Guaberto Bermudo charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guaberto Bermudo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match had been going on for 5 minutes, Rosario Central's Carmelo Salomon got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Wilfredo Virila. Wilfredo Virila came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Rosario Central's Paulino Xabat. But to his dismay, Paulino Xabat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in TALLERES SAO's zone, Marcelino Manny stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilfredo Virila came out of the goal and Marcelino Manny tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nemesio Ospetsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Mede in the 18th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind TALLERES SAO's goalkeeper Wilfredo Virila, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcelino Manny's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilfredo Virila read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Pedro Mede hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Paulino Xabat who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Wilfredo Virila when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marcelino Manny received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wilfredo Virila came out and tried to block the shot, but Marcelino Manny slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 32nd minute. An unexpected shot in the 39th minute by Paulino Xabat got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to TALLERES SAO getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Tiburcio George hit a great ball. Wilfredo Virila acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 45th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Robustiano Dolcet. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulino Xabat to make the kick off. Nemesio Ospetsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basilio Munio in the 54th minute of the match. Basilio Munio struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Nemesio Ospetsu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TALLERES SAO. The supporters of Rosario Central booed when TALLERES SAO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Afonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Marcelino Manny managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rosario Central's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelino Manny was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilfredo Virila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nemesio Ospetsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio George in the 69th minute of play. Norberto Haitz hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Basilio Munio got free with Nemesio Ospetsu in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the TALLERES SAO defense, Marcelino Manny kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilfredo Virila. The TALLERES SAO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilfredo Virila should have stopped the shot. Nemesio Ospetsu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Afonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, TALLERES SAO's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Manny came free, but Wilfredo Virila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rosario Central's Nemesio Ospetsu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Rosario Central from getting a goal against them. In the 92nd minute Tiburcio George shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Ospetsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nemesio Ospetsu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Basilio Munio went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score.
