Spectators: 7120 (Terracing: 5373, Seating: 1647, VIP seats: 100) German Bonifaco acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 4th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gilbert Bialakowski. 8 minutes into the game, Patricio Corderun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LA ACADEMIA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Linqueño FC the free kick. Patricio Corderun hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. When Patricio Corderun came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the LA ACADEMIA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Corderun couldn't finish the play. The long shot by Gilbert Bialakowski in the 22nd minute really tested German Bonifaco's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 29 minutes into the match, LA ACADEMIA's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Rozarius came free, but Jorge Misael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Misael came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Linqueño FC's Amador Frichoso. But to his dismay, Amador Frichoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 35 minutes into the match, LA ACADEMIA's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Rozarius came free, but Jorge Misael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amador Frichoso took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jorge Misael. Jorge Misael dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 42 minutes into the match, LA ACADEMIA's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Rozarius came free, but Jorge Misael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agustin Franco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. German Bonifaco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Gregorio Jerardo notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of LA ACADEMIA's Jorge Misael. Jorge Misael was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gregorio Jerardo made a kick off. Agustin Franco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. German Bonifaco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patricio Corderun in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck German Bonifaco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Linqueño FC booed when LA ACADEMIA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustin Franco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorge Misael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Andrzejewski in the 61st minute of the match. In the 66th minute of the match, Gregorio Jerardo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jorge Misael saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jorge Misael made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amador Frichoso in the 67th minute. If Benedicto Rozarius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes in the game, Benedicto Rozarius fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jorge Misael having to interfere. With a little luck, LA ACADEMIA's Jorge Misael got control of the ball when Gregorio Jerardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jorge Misael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Jerardo in the 81st minute of the match. Nestor Gabino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Linqueño FC's Horacio Ralondo was substituted for Benedicto Rozarius. The crowd rose to their feet as Linqueño FC's Horacio Ralondo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jorge Misael. That made the score 1-5 after 87 minutes of play. Linqueño FC's Artemio Mazuste was substituted for Amador Frichoso. With a little luck, LA ACADEMIA's Jorge Misael got control of the ball when Artemio Mazuste tried to sneak it across the goal line.
