In the 4th match minute, La Mecánica Naranja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cândido Garcia to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Lanús getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Isidro Vela hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lanús's zone, Abelardo Seme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anacleto Perrando came out of the goal and Abelardo Seme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, La Mecánica Naranja's Anacleto Perrando threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eleuterio Che, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. La Mecánica Naranja's Eleuterio Che was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 15th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Eleuterio Che received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Anacleto Perrando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. La Mecánica Naranja's Hermengildo Jerold got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Ciriaco Salomone ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gualterio Eneko was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Goiz in the 33rd minute of play forced La Mecánica Naranja's goalkeeper Gualterio Eneko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eleuterio Che in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Anacleto Perrando, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. La Mecánica Naranja's Abelardo Seme quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Cristian Betadur, made in the 36th minute of the game. In the 39th match minute, Lanús was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidro Vela to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, La Mecánica Naranja's Lucio Efren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anacleto Perrando narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Braulio Cisco during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lanús's Braulio Cisco got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The wind increased when Ciriaco Salomone made the kick off in the second half. La Mecánica Naranja were furious when Americo Sanson was red carded, 65 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for La Mecánica Naranja! Gualterio Eneko had in the 67thth minute some difficulties stopping Braulio Cisco's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eleuterio Che in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anacleto Perrando saved Lanús from getting behind. La Mecánica Naranja's Lucio Efren got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abelardo Seme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anacleto Perrando didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when La Mecánica Naranja's Eleuterio Che shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Gualterio Eneko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciriaco Salomone in the 82nd minute of the match. When La Mecánica Naranja's Eleuterio Che in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lanús's goalie prevented a goal. In the 90th minute of the match Braulio Cisco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gualterio Eneko showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gualterio Eneko made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Adan Ostots sent off a good shot on target. Gualterio Eneko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciriaco Salomone in the 98th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the La Mecánica Naranja players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
