Spectators: 7162 (Terracing: 5373, Seating: 1647, VIP seats: 142) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bonifacio Toro took the kick off in the first half of the match. Elpidio Jurgi hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Aurelio Piarres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Quin in the 10th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Amuschina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hilario Theobald came free, but Aurelio Piarres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Domingo Cavallo hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Tiburcio Chorche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Aurelio Piarres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Hilario Theobald notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Amuschina FC's Aurelio Piarres. Aurelio Piarres was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Tiburcio Chorche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 37 played minutes Amuschina FC got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Cebrian. In the 38th minute, Hilario Theobald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roberto Remir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Carlos Fernando Roma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, San Rafael FC's Tiburcio Chorche sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aurelio Piarres narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Delmiro Quin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Tiburcio Chorche made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiburcio Chorche got free with Aurelio Piarres in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teo Viator made in the 54th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ambrosio Caradaro immediately put the ball in play. Hilario Theobald struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Aurelio Piarres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Rafael FC. With his leg Aurelio Piarres managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when San Rafael FC's Tiburcio Chorche fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Tiburcio Chorche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurelio Piarres came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by San Rafael FC's Hilario Theobald. But to his dismay, Hilario Theobald quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Tiburcio Chorche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hilario Theobald in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelio Piarres saved Amuschina FC from getting behind. After 72 played minutes Hilario Theobald could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 0-4 into the left cross. Afonso Coutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Aurelio Piarres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hilario Theobald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Piarres having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Amuschina FC's zone, Afonso Coutinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Piarres came out of the goal and Afonso Coutinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th minute Hilario Theobald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Piarres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. San Rafael FC's Hilario Theobald was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 81st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Aurelio Piarres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hilario Theobald, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Aurelio Piarres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emery Pagan in the 89th minute. Afonso Coutinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Aurelio Piarres made a huge save. Gervasio Cebrian charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gervasio Cebrian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of San Rafael FC booed when Amuschina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervasio Cebrian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amuschina FC's Aurelio Piarres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilario Theobald in the 92nd minute of play. When the match was over San Rafael FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Amuschina FC throughout the match.
