Silvano Eztebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Ferrer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonas Pueblo struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Elvio Fonda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Diablos Rojos. A collision led to Los Diablos Rojos getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Carolo Umea hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Ranchillo AFC's Jeronimo Chinto tried to score from far away in the 12th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Silvano Eztebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Nuxila, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Los Diablos Rojos's Silvano Eztebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixto Ferrer in the 18th minute of play. Ariel Romano took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elvio Fonda. Elvio Fonda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Gervasio Abarca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ariel Romano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, Los Diablos Rojos's goal looked a bit too open when Sixto Ferrer came free, but Silvano Eztebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Laureano Gombal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Los Diablos Rojos's Silvano Eztebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Nuxila in the 31st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gonzalo Nuxila in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvano Eztebe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 37th minute Sixto Ferrer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvano Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sixto Ferrer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvano Eztebe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Sixto Ferrer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jonas Pueblo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonas Pueblo to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Eliseo Rico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ranchillo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Rico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Ranchillo AFC booed when Los Diablos Rojos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Lon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sixto Ferrer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Silvano Eztebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Silvano Eztebe successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Filiberto Figueroa's late challenge caught a Los Diablos Rojos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filiberto Figueroa helped the player get up and apologised. Filiberto Figueroa kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The Ranchillo AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ranchillo AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
