Hernan Johans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melquiades Darien in the 3rd minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Nesor Tormes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Emilio Lluques, 1-0. Nesor Tormes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ezequiel Cordario lost his temper 15 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of Stephenson AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Barrancas FC:s goal. Emilio Lluques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Alonso in the 18th minute of the match. In the 20thth minute of the game Nesor Tormes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stephenson AFC's Emilio Lluques was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emilio Lluques stood somewhat misplaced when Nesor Tormes came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 21 minute. Stephenson AFC's Emilio Lluques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nesor Tormes in the 26th minute of play. Melquiades Darien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Hernan Johans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Nesor Tormes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emilio Lluques. Nesor Tormes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. If Nesor Tormes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute Moises Pierres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Lluques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Bernardino Orain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nesor Tormes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Lluques having to interfere. Nesor Tormes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Emilio Lluques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Melquiades Darien to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Nesor Tormes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Lluques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardino Orain's late challenge caught a Barrancas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardino Orain helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Stephenson AFC's Bernardino Orain got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute, Nesor Tormes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Melquiades Darien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Johans having to interfere. Esteve Katia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Nesor Tormes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 69 minutes into the match, Stephenson AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Pierres came free, but Emilio Lluques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Nesor Tormes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Barrancas FC booed when Stephenson AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Orain didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barrancas FC's Gregorio Abar was substituted for Atilano Luzea. Emilio Lluques came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Barrancas FC's Moises Pierres. But to his dismay, Moises Pierres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Melquiades Darien struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Hernan Johans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stephenson AFC. In the 93rd minute Timoteo Mergildo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Johans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Denis Bermudez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Barrancas FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
