The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cipriano Ioritz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flavio Pedemonte's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Ceferino Polo's late challenge caught a Paloma FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ceferino Polo helped the player get up and apologised. Ceferino Polo hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Cipriano Ioritz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Pedemonte in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Paloma FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Giles came free, but Cipriano Ioritz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evaristo Frederico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Eutor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andres Giles scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cipriano Ioritz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Andres Giles struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Cipriano Ioritz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Maquina Levelera. Evaristo Frederico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Eutor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, La Maquina Levelera's Severiano Ricart seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Severiano Ricart the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of La Maquina Levelera protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Severiano Ricart had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 25 minutes into the game, one of La Maquina Levelera:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Evaristo Frederico went to the wrong direction when Ernesto Castulo was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Cipriano Ioritz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Giles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Octavio Feo got free with Evaristo Frederico in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 39 minutes into the game, La Maquina Levelera's Flavio Pedemonte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cipriano Ioritz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. La Maquina Levelera's Evaristo Frederico proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save La Maquina Levelera from getting a goal against them. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Flavio Pedemonte to make the kick off. Benedicto Otsando kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Andres Giles scored 0-4 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cipriano Ioritz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Evaristo Frederico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio Feo in the 59th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Pedemonte in the 61st minute of play forced Paloma FC's goalkeeper Cipriano Ioritz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute Jaime Eutor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Frederico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remigio Vasco kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Flavio Pedemonte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Cipriano Ioritz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paloma FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Flavio Pedemonte scored to the left of an out of position Cipriano Ioritz, making the score, 0-5. Cipriano Ioritz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Pedemonte, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. With a little luck, Paloma FC's Cipriano Ioritz got control of the ball when Andres Giles tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 87th minute Ceferino Polo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Ioritz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 88 minutes, Andres Giles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Maquina Levelera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andres Giles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 91 minutes, Benedicto Otsando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paloma FC and the La Maquina Levelera players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Paloma FC's zone, Andres Giles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cipriano Ioritz came out of the goal and Andres Giles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 94 minutes into the match, La Maquina Levelera's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Feo came free, but Evaristo Frederico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cipriano Ioritz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Pedemonte, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. La Maquina Levelera played a much better game than Paloma FC and deserved their victory. The Paloma FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
