With a little luck, Huanchillas FC's Silvano Tebaldo got control of the ball when Elvio Abechuco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Silvano Tebaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejo Costante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alejo Costante's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvano Tebaldo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Adrian Florinio kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Silvano Tebaldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raimundo Javiero in the 31st minute. After 32 played minutes Huanchillas FC got a freekick which was hit by Casimiro Iraitz. Baldomiro Ekialde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Paez, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 45th minute, Carmelo Silvino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roman Paez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Baldomiro Ekialde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Caton in the 53rd minute of play forced Huanchillas FC's goalkeeper Silvano Tebaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 55 minutes, Roman Paez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huanchillas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roman Paez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barracas's goalkeeper Baldomiro Ekialde, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Roman Paez scored 0-2 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baldomiro Ekialde, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Carmelo Silvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Silvano Tebaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvio Abechuco in the 67th minute of play. Silvano Tebaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Javiero in the 76th minute of the match. After having played for 78 minutes, Carmelo Silvino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huanchillas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carmelo Silvino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guntis Placenko during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Huanchillas FC's Guntis Placenko got a free kick in the 85th minute. Carmelo Silvino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Ekialde having to interfere. Huanchillas FC's Carmelo Silvino got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, Huanchillas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alejo Costante came free, but Silvano Tebaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carmelo Silvino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Baldomiro Ekialde made a huge save. The Huanchillas FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
