The crowd rose to their feet as Bohemios FC's Emiliano Bizen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Florencio Aureo. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. Honorio Azevedo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Florencio Aureo came out and tried to block the shot, but Honorio Azevedo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 14th minute. Jorge Quirze in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Florencio Aureo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the last second Florencio Aureo throw himself and got hold of the ball when Honorio Azevedo in the 20thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Florencio Aureo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Bizen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emiliano Bizen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Extremadura's Florencio Aureo got control of the ball when Jorge Quirze tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Azevedo in the 37th minute of play forced Extremadura's goalkeeper Florencio Aureo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florencio Aureo was a little too slow when Honorio Azevedo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 3-0. Jimeno Resto kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Honorio Azevedo made a kick off. Florencio Aureo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorio Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Honorio Azevedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florencio Aureo. Extremadura's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Honorio Azevedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The audience was convinced that Honorio Azevedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florencio Aureo was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Florencio Aureo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorio Azevedo in the 81st minute of the match.
