The supporters of Club Atletico Belgrano booed when Curupayti FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Oliveiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Curupayti FC's goalkeeper Nemesio Blanco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Roland. Curupayti FC's Nemesio Blanco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Curupayti FC from getting a goal against them. 24 minutes into the match, Curupayti FC's Thiago Vasconcelos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celedonio Honesto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Curupayti FC's Nemesio Blanco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Curupayti FC from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute, Eleuterio Artaldo made a precise shot to the right of Celedonio Honesto. Club Atletico Belgrano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Gregorio Pes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Honesto having to interfere. Raimundo Garaona hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Orixe in the 43rd minute of play forced Curupayti FC's goalkeeper Nemesio Blanco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Nemesio Blanco came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Belgrano's Jorge Roland. But to his dismay, Jorge Roland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Jorge Roland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nemesio Blanco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Barrionuevo, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Eleuterio Artaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Celedonio Honesto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jorge Roland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Roland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Blanco having to interfere. Rigoberto Barrionuevo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nemesio Blanco having to make a save. Curupayti FC's Nemesio Blanco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Roland in the 83rd minute of play. Celedonio Honesto came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Curupayti FC's Thiago Vasconcelos. But to his dismay, Thiago Vasconcelos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Rigoberto Barrionuevo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Club Atletico Belgrano's Jorge Roland got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
