Bernabe Ibañez's late challenge caught a Virginia AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mutlu Necil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Primitivo Txaran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Larra, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Filomeno Liberto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Primitivo Txaran made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Antares F.C.'s Robustiano Cordarrel got a free kick in the 95th minute. Virginia AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
