Spectators: 7107 (Terracing: 5332, Seating: 1634, VIP seats: 141) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Danilo Gines got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Esteban Natanael threw the ball into play from the sideline. Gladeadores de La Plata's Cirilo Cuartio quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Cirilo Cuartio's late challenge caught a Sacale Punta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cirilo Cuartio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th minute, Cirilo Cuartio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danilo Gines in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Braulio Gergori saved Sacale Punta from getting behind. Braulio Gergori came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Gladeadores de La Plata's Manuel Senon. But to his dismay, Manuel Senon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Sacale Punta's Braulio Gergori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Gines in the 19th minute of play. Honorato Larra made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Sergio Oidor sent off a good shot on target. Adrian Ted kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Braulio Gergori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Senon in the 27th minute of the match. Honorato Larra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sergio Oidor in the 29th minute. When Andres Moise came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Sacale Punta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andres Moise couldn't finish the play. Sergio Oidor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Larra having to interfere. After some careless play in the Sacale Punta defense, Danilo Gines kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Braulio Gergori. The Sacale Punta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Braulio Gergori should have stopped the shot. Manuel Senon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Braulio Gergori having to make a save. Braulio Gergori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Gines in the 45th minute of play. Mariano Santiago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Honorato Larra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sergio Oidor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Gladeadores de La Plata's zone, Sergio Oidor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorato Larra came out of the goal and Sergio Oidor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gladeadores de La Plata's Honorato Larra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Oidor in the 61st minute of play. Braulio Gergori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Gines, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Danilo Gines struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Braulio Gergori didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gladeadores de La Plata. Danilo Gines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 85 minutes, Danilo Gines managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gladeadores de La Plata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danilo Gines was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cirilo Cuartio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sergio Oidor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Honorato Larra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gladeadores de La Plata played a much better game than Sacale Punta and deserved their victory. The Sacale Punta players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
