Lucjan Wykowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Gines in the 13th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Baladi got free with Honorato Larra in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th minute Ladislao Padro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Larra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Gladeadores de La Plata's goalkeeper Honorato Larra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Honorato Chano. Lucjan Wykowski came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Gladeadores de La Plata's Danilo Gines. But to his dismay, Danilo Gines quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Danilo Gines scored 0-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucjan Wykowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th minute, Bandera AFC's Saverio Guerau dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Honorato Larra successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After having played for 34 minutes, Danilo Gines managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Danilo Gines struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Lucjan Wykowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gladeadores de La Plata. 40 minutes into the match, Danilo Gines notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Bandera AFC's Lucjan Wykowski. Lucjan Wykowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cirilo Cuartio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Danilo Gines managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gladeadores de La Plata's supporters rose to their feet, but Danilo Gines was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucjan Wykowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Danilo Gines to strike the kick off in the second half. Honorato Larra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Guerau, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Honorato Larra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Padro in the 56th minute of play. Lucjan Wykowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Cuartio in the 60th minute of the match. Ladislao Padro hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Lucjan Wykowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Gines, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gonzalo Jakes lost his temper 73 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. One of Gladeadores de La Plata:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bandera AFC:s goal. The referee gave Bandera AFC a penalty, 74 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Honorato Chano, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Gladeadores de La Plata's Honorato Larra. 2-3. Honorato Larra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Baladi in the 77th minute of play. Honorato Larra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Honorato Chano's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Honorato Larra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Padro, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The supporters of Gladeadores de La Plata booed when Bandera AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Nuñez didn't get a good kick on the ball.
