Spectators: 7199 (Terracing: 5401, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Victor Arce made the kick off which started today's match. Gamay FC's Froilan Flor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Gamay FC from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leif Påk in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Froilan Flor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gamay FC's Felix Fe got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Froilan Flor came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by La Novena Borracha's Leif Påk. But to his dismay, Leif Påk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Froilan Flor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leif Påk in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gamay FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leif Påk was slow to take the kick. During this time La Novena Borracha's players had a chance to rest. 21 minutes into the game, La Novena Borracha's Pastor Nesto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Froilan Flor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 24th minute, Pastor Nesto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Froilan Flor was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Froilan Flor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pastor Nesto in the 28th minute. Pastor Nesto might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Froilan Flor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pastor Nesto ran back to his position shaking his head. Froilan Flor made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Pastor Nesto sent off a good shot on target. 34 minutes into the match, Gamay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Sidoro came free, but Froilan Flor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Sidoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Froilan Flor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the game, Fernan Oton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gamay FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Novena Borracha the free kick. In the 47th minute, one of Gamay FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gamay FC. 5-0 came through a penalty shot after 49 played minutes, when La Novena Borracha:s Leif Påk calmly waited for Gamay FC:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pastor Nesto to strike the kick off in the second half. Victor Arce in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Guillermo Jurdan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 58 minutes into the match, Gamay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Sidoro came free, but Froilan Flor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Nesto in the 59th minute of play forced Gamay FC's goalkeeper Froilan Flor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amado Ospin charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amado Ospin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd match minute, Gamay FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Ospin to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute Pastor Nesto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Froilan Flor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Froilan Flor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pastor Nesto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the game, Américo Vaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gamay FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Novena Borracha the free kick. After 66 played minutes Gamay FC got a freekick which was hit by Américo Vaz. A collision led to Gamay FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Américo Vaz hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Pastor Nesto managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Novena Borracha's supporters rose to their feet, but Pastor Nesto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Froilan Flor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. La Novena Borracha's Guillermo Jurdan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Arce in the 71st minute of play. Genaro Berasko kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Gamay FC's Damaso Suarez was substituted for Victor Arce. In the 80th match minute, Gamay FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonides Maraman to maneuver through the defense. La Novena Borracha's Pedro Sidoro got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Gamay FC's Rosendo Remigio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Guillermo Jurdan. That made the score 5-1 after 89 minutes of play. Pastor Nesto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froilan Flor having to interfere. La Novena Borracha walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
