With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andis Rokjuris in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Froilan Flor saved Gamay FC from getting behind. 16 minutes into the match, Amado Ospin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ognyan Georgiev. VP Amigo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amado Ospin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Apolo Vincent got free with Froilan Flor in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in VP Amigo's zone, Amado Ospin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ognyan Georgiev came out of the goal and Amado Ospin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victor Arce took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ognyan Georgiev. Ognyan Georgiev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Ognyan Georgiev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Arce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benito Chuse during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Benito Chuse kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Fernan Oton's late challenge caught a VP Amigo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernan Oton helped the player get up and apologised. Froilan Flor was left in no man's land by his defense there! The VP Amigo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gamay FC were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Christian Frechoso made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Arce in the 56th minute of play forced VP Amigo's goalkeeper Ognyan Georgiev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 59 played minutes VP Amigo got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Leguizamón. Ognyan Georgiev didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 69th minute, which inside left pole to 2-3. When the match was over Gamay FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than VP Amigo throughout the match.
