Eleuterio Damario dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Eclipse's zone, Felix Benat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Martxot came out of the goal and Felix Benat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 19 minutes, Alejo Roldan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eclipse and the Carpe Diem FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guaberto Sazon got free with Juan Martxot in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juan Martxot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nemesio Giraldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Benat in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Juan Martxot, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Eclipse's zone, Felix Benat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Martxot came out of the goal and Felix Benat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juan Martxot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Giraldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. If Felix Benat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eleuterio Damario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicanor Montae in the 38th minute of play. Nemesio Giraldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Martxot having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Nicanor Montae made the kick off in the second half. Nicanor Montae struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Eleuterio Damario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eclipse. Anacleto Belo charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Nemesio Giraldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Martxot having to interfere. Eclipse's Juan Martxot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Benat in the 96th minute of play. The Eclipse players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
