Melchor Frascuelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Goito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tobias Urbes kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Cornelio Garaile received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Paolo Veto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CAIndependiente FC's Froilan Astrada got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th match minute, CAIndependiente FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixto Ellande to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, Marcelo Enekoitz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Melchor Frascuelo. CAIndependiente FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelo Enekoitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 31 minutes into the match, CAIndependiente FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Blai came free, but Melchor Frascuelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Blai in the 34th minute of play forced CAIndependiente FC's goalkeeper Melchor Frascuelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddy Eskuin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Melchor Frascuelo. CAIndependiente FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Blai in the 41st minute of play forced CAIndependiente FC's goalkeeper Melchor Frascuelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Cornelio Garaile notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Chabela FC's Paolo Veto. Paolo Veto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, CAIndependiente FC's Tobias Urbes got a free kick in the 58th minute. Melchor Frascuelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Goito in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, CAIndependiente FC's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Goito came free, but Melchor Frascuelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Chabela FC's Hugo Claude slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Melchor Frascuelo. That made the score 1-4 after 66 minutes of play. Hugo Claude sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Cornelio Garaile managed to get in a good position for a shot. CAIndependiente FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cornelio Garaile was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paolo Veto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd minute Cornelio Garaile shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Veto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melchor Frascuelo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Blai in the 78th minute. Hugo Claude sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alberto Blai came free with the goalkeeper in the 84th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Melchor Frascuelo could save by the left post. In the 86th minute, Chabela FC's Omar Goito ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Melchor Frascuelo. Melchor Frascuelo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Thanks to some nice moves Alberto Blai could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Melchor Frascuelo however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to CAIndependiente FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Sixto Ellande hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chabela FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
