The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Damaso Dolfos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Acuña having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Damaso Dolfos made a precise shot to the right of Leo Acuña. BUETUR F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, BUETUR F.C.'s Hector Rafel got a free kick in the 18th minute. When Desiderio Filipo came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Talita FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Desiderio Filipo couldn't finish the play. Leo Acuña didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damaso Dolfos went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 26 minutes into the match, BUETUR F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Filipo came free, but Leo Acuña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hector Rafel hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. A collision led to BUETUR F.C. getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Gavino Emenon hit a great ball. Leo Acuña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desiderio Filipo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jonathan Fix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Desiderio Filipo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Desiderio Filipo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Talita FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Romeo Dino managed to get in a good position for a shot. BUETUR F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Romeo Dino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeledon Napier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Fix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Zeledon Napier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Desiderio Filipo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Talita FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Timoteo Reynardo hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, Jonathan Fix had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zeledon Napier. Talita FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonathan Fix was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Zeledon Napier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Dino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Desiderio Filipo took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leo Acuña. Leo Acuña dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. After 71 played minutes Talita FC got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Reynardo. Jonathan Fix's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zeledon Napier firmly grabbed it by the left post. Leo Acuña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damaso Dolfos, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Jesus Bikendi hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Jonathan Fix managed to get in a good position for a shot. BUETUR F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Fix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
