Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Santiago Eufemio kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Laureano Lazcano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Club Atlético Alberdi's Luisito Valiente threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gaudencio Eron, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gaudencio Eron had several of the MardelPlataFutbolClub's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 8 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Luisito Valiente as he didn't even see the shot coming. After having played for 20 minutes, Ricardo Gai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Alberdi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Gai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of MardelPlataFutbolClub booed when Club Atlético Alberdi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laureano Lazcano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Róbson Quintal came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by MardelPlataFutbolClub's Santiago Eufemio. But to his dismay, Santiago Eufemio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 36th minute, one of MardelPlataFutbolClub:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for MardelPlataFutbolClub. Ricardo Gai walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Luisito Valiente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaudencio Eron, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gaudencio Eron made a kick off. Luisito Valiente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaudencio Eron in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, MardelPlataFutbolClub's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Gai came free, but Luisito Valiente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santiago Eufemio's late challenge caught a Club Atlético Alberdi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santiago Eufemio helped the player get up and apologised. Gaudencio Eron succeeded in the game's 56th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Luisito Valiente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Gai, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Gai in the 63rd minute of play forced MardelPlataFutbolClub's goalkeeper Luisito Valiente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by MardelPlataFutbolClub's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fausto Cebo was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Atlético Alberdi's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Club Atlético Alberdi's Fausto Cebo to fire away a dangerous shot which Luisito Valiente despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ricardo Gai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Alberdi's goalkeeper Róbson Quintal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adrian Ereinotz. If Ricardo Gai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Atlético Alberdi's Róbson Quintal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Ferrando in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Ricardo Gai had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luisito Valiente. MardelPlataFutbolClub's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ricardo Gai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Arturo Ferrando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Róbson Quintal having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Alberdi's Gilberto Ekaitz got a free kick in the 81st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaudencio Eron in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luisito Valiente prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by MardelPlataFutbolClub's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fausto Cebo was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Atlético Alberdi's players had a chance to rest. Gaudencio Eron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Valiente having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Ricardo Gai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Alberdi's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Gai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luisito Valiente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luisito Valiente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaudencio Eron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Club Atlético Alberdi players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
